Aisling Bea

Aisling B a is born on on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. After appearing in bit parts on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea was able to begin her stand-up comedian in 2011. Following 2012, she was performing in sketch comedy shows or sitcoms as well as other similar programming. In 2012, after winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she has become a fixture. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was the second woman to ever win the So You think You're Funny award. Bea was presented with the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is an Kildare born girl. Her birth date was March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who was killed after Bea turned three was the sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his passing at 13 years old. Bea adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer and former professional jockey. She and her family loved racing, horses and the racing industry. Bea began her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that racing was not for her.
